Objective: It is imperative for an artist to create art in a number of styles and have that art translate clearly. This project's objective was to create a well-known character or actor in a distinct art style.
Design Brief: For this project, I chose Gene Wilder's Frankenstein from Young Frankenstein. Dr. Frankenstein is in low-poly, a style made of many flat geometric shapes that vary in color to build up a sense of depth and dimension. There are heavy shadows and bright highlights to not only add to the depth, but also to express the dramatic lighting of the depicted scene.
